ClustalX and NJplot, the two programs we use in this lab, have been installed on the computers in the room. If you are doing this at home you can download them and install them on your computer (they are free).

Part 4
For part 4 of the lab, the inquiry portion, you will find your own nucleotide sequences. Use the NCBI Nucelotide Sequence Database to find sequences. Follow directions in your lab regarding how to prepare the data before using ClustalX and NJplot.
